I'm Zahra Saleh

My career as a Transformation Leader was founded on an irony. For over a decade, I led large-scale technology and business transformations for complex organisations, from Blackstone & Regis to Clarion Housing and the University of London. I was known for precision, control, and calm execution under pressure, the person people called when the stakes were high and the room needed steady leadership.

Why I do this work

Here’s the truth I kept seeing, even in well-run organisations. The systems were not breaking, the people were.

Projects looked fine on paper, but the leaders behind them were running on adrenaline, carrying everything, and slowly losing focus, wellbeing, and creativity in the name of “keeping it together”. That is why MindTactics exists: to build the mindset and capacity architecture that lets you lead without carrying the business on your nervous system.

My story

My career was built on an irony. I built a reputation for structure, time discipline, and composure. Then a diagnosis surprised everyone, including me. I was dyslexic.

My dyslexia report suggested I should struggle with organisation, time management, and memory, the very skills I was known for.

That moment forced me to rebuild my entire mental architecture.

I immersed myself in psychology, neuroscience, and performance frameworks. I worked with a mental toughness coach who trains Olympic athletes. And I began re-engineering how I think, plan, focus, and recover so I could perform at a high level without paying for it later.

What started as personal survival became a repeatable system.

And once I saw how powerfully it worked, I knew it belonged in the hands of founders and leaders who are carrying too much.
